Floats for float valves

The float decides whether the valve has enough force to shut off the flow. The bigger the valve and the higher the supply pressure, the larger the float you need. Each FARG float name lists the valves it fits — choose by that list.

• Copper — the classic, sturdy and lasts for decades.
• AISI 304 stainless steel — for aggressive water, food and process tanks.
• Flat and spherical 90 mm — for small valves and tight cisterns.

If an old float leaks and sinks, the valve stops closing — replace the float rather than repair it. The valves themselves are in the float valves section.
