## Description

**Heating expansion tank GWS HWB80LV, 80 L** is a GWS HeatWave expansion vessel for sealed heating systems. It takes up the water that expands as it heats and keeps the system pressure below the point where the safety valve opens.

Key specifications: 80 L volume, steel body, working pressure up to 6 bar and water temperature up to 99 °C.

### Where to use it

- a sealed heating system holding up to about 720 L of water
- a boiler of roughly up to 55 kW with radiators
- installation on the return pipe before the circulation pump

Set the air pre-charge by system height: 1 bar for every 10 m of height plus 0.2–0.3 bar.
